"When our father’s health rapidly deteriorated and he was no longer able to live in his own home, he had to move to an adult foster home. It has been a challenging time for everyone involved, especially when his children reside in different states. After he had a stroke we thought, in addition to the caregivers at the facility, “Who will help our dad, physically and emotionally, at the level we hope and most importantly, can we trust them?”


With Cenah we have found someone that has become a part of the family, that loves and respects our father and helps us feel confident that he is well looked after, loved and not forgotten.


She visits him for a few hours, two times a week and is so good with him. She has him doing what exercises he can do, talking about his family and his past experiences, looking at family photographs, watching documentaries and discussing them. They do word puzzles and games and sometimes even build models.


Cenah has a calm, reassuring demeanor. She interacts with him effortlessly and recognizes when to push him a little and when to let him rest. She is always encouraging and supportive of whatever he needs.


Through these difficult times, Cenah has allowed us to relax a little bit and feel confident that someone like her is with him when we cannot be and is constantly in communication with us, letting us know what they have been doing and how he is reacting to everything.
